Satini Cosmetic Clinic Cancellation And Appointment Policy

We will regularly update our cancellation and appointment policy. Clients can register online, make a phone or email booking or walk into the clinic to make an appointment. On arrival, we will ask you to fill out and sign a registration form, a medical history form and a privacy agreement form. This is to gather relevant medical information from our clients to ensure their suitability for any treatment at our clinic.

We collect personal data, such as your name, address, contact numbers and email addresses. We also collect information of a medical nature. This information is used to keep you updated with new services and developments, confirm your appointments and provide you with important pre and post-care information. Please also see our Privacy Policy about the information we collect, keep and use. SATINI Medical Cosmetic Clinic will ensure the privacy of patients in accordance with the Health Information Privacy Code 1994.

We will ask you to make an initial appointment if you are new to SATINI, even if you had cosmetic treatments in the past. Together with you, we will set up a treatment plan that suits your requirements and is medically safe. After that, we will offer you a cool-down period after the initial appointment. This is to make sure that you feel absolutely comfortable proceeding with any treatment. But we can perform treatments on the same day.

Confidentiality

  • WE make all clients aware of The Consumer Code of Rights during their initial appointment.
  • The recording, collection and storage of information will comply with the Health Information Privacy Code 1994.
  • No medical information or information relating to your health or any visit to our clinic for whatever reason or information about any treatment you received at SATINI will be passed on to third parties or any other person who is not directly involved in your care.
  • All new staff, locums and students will sign a confidentiality statement and be made aware of the Patients Rights and Privacy Policies. This will be renewed on an annual basis.
  • Documents no longer required by SATINI will be disposed of appropriately, e.g. shredded or document control bin. Please check our privacy policy for more information.

Appointments

You can make your appointment in different ways:

Please aim to arrive at the clinic five to ten minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to check in. If you are late, we may not be able to provide the full treatment that you are booked for because our treatments cannot be rushed, but you will still be charged for the full appointment.

Children are welcome in the clinic but please make sure that they behave appropriately. We encourage you to bring a toy/drawing material or an electronic device to distract them as our staff will be unable to look after any children while providing treatment for you.

Cancellations

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellation. This is to allow time to reallocate your appointment to another client.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or fail to attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost. In the case of a consultation, the charge will be 105 NZD, and in the case of prepaid treatments, the treatment will be forfeited.
  • If you do not attend an initial consultation twice in a row, we will ask you to pay in advance for any future booking. The fee will be 150 NZD. We will send you an electronic payment link before your appointment, and we will only be able to offer an appointment once the fee has been paid.
  • We provide refunds where required under New Zealand Consumer Law.
  • Please note we do not refund deposits that you already paid for.
  • Cosmetic injectable treatments are non-refundable in any circumstances.
  • If you have purchased a package and wish to opt-out for a good reason, we will try to accommodate your needs.
  • If you are saving up for treatment on EZY pay but wish to opt out before your treatment is due, we will provide you with a full refund.
  • Treatments/services and service packages are not transferable to other individuals or clinics.

Change of contact details

Please notify SATINI of any changes to your contact details including name changes, address, mobile number and email. This will help us to get any necessary or important information to you.

We will send you an SMS reminder about your appointment 48 hours ahead. Please confirm your appointment.
