How does Micro Botox work?

Also known as intradermal Botox, this treatment works by targeting the sweat and oil glands in the skin as well as the erector pili muscles, which are responsible for opening the pores. By temporarily weakening these muscles and glands, the skin becomes noticeably tighter, smoother and more refined. The procedure makes the skin of your face look delicate, pore less and lifted. How much Botox do I require?

The Botox will be highly diluted, ideally with a skin booster. This means that only very small amounts of Botox will be injected, not more than 15 to 20 units are sufficient to treat the whole face.

Micro-Botox, like traditional Botox, lasts on average 3-4 months. For the treatment of barcode wrinkles we mix a very soft filler with a small amount of Facial injectables (usually not more than 15 units). We then carefully place it under the skin on top of your upper lip. This improves fine lines and wrinkles on top of the lip.
