Is it safe to have a Facial injectables eyebrow lift?

In the hands of a medical professional this is a very safe procedure. If you have this procedure for the first time, it is very important to have a follow up appointment after 2 weeks as it is not unusual to require a small correction of the eyebrow shape.

In some cases it can happen that the eyebrow is arched too highly (the so called Spock sign). This can easily be corrected with a small amount of botulinum toxin that is injected into the forehead muscle. Very rarely it can happen that the eyelid becomes droopy. This is also transient but will take a few weeks to resolve completely. In addition, if too much Facial injectables is injected into the forehead, the brow can actually look heavier and move the eyebrows down with the result being that the eyes look smaller and the eyelids heavier.

Can you combine the Facial injectables eyebrow lift with other procedures?

Yes. For some people it may be a good option to provide an additional eyebrow lift with dermal filler that is injected close to the cheekbone and under the arch of the eyebrow. Treatment with plasma and skin booster can also stimulate collagen production around the eyes, lift saggy eyelids and improve dark rings under the eyes.

Is there any downtime after the procedure?
