Prescription Medication

4.5% Tranexamic Acid

Tranexamic acid is a prescription drug that doctors often use to treat heavy periods. But this drug also inhibits an enzyme called tyrosinase, which is responsible for producing too much brownish pigment in our skin.  Several studies showed that, when you take tranexamic acid as a tablet, it fades dark spots, melasma and uneven skin texture.

Scientifically Designed Anti-Pigmentation Complex

5% Enzymacid Complex

This exfoliating complex contains Mandelic, Salicylic, Lactic Acid and an Active Biotechnological Enzyme. These are naturally occurring acids that gently remove dead skin cells on top of your skin. As a result, the skin will become more radiant with a glow.

2% Tyr Control Complex

The Tyr Control Complex is a unique complex of active ingredients that target pigmentation. It was scientifically designed by the company mesoestetic. It contains kojic acid plus a biotechnological plankton extract and alanine. All three of these active ingredients work in synergy with each other to fade pigmentation.

Depigmenting Vitamins

5% Niacinamide

Niacinamide is Vitamin B. It is one of the most traditional and popular ingredients to treat and prevent uneven pigmentation.

Plant-Based Extract

Jojoba oil is derived from a shrub native to Mexico and Southern California. The ancient, native Americans used this oil to treat wounds and inflamed skin. This plant-derived, natural oil has become particularly popular in cosmetic products since the production and use of whale oil were prohibited in the 1970s.

How to use 

Apply the product in the morning and at night every day.

Ideally, apply after melan tran3x concentrate. Gently massage into the skin until fully absorbed.

We recommend you always use superior sun protection, even during winter. This is because even short periods of sun exposure can cause dark spots or melasma to reoccur. We would recommend you to add mesoestetic Mesoprotech Melan SPF 130+ Pigment Control.

This sunscreen provides very high sun protection and prevents and treats uneven pigmentation at the same time.

How to use when using Cosmelan 2 Depigmentation Cream:

Please use mesoestetic Melan Tran3x Intensive Depigmenting Concentrate and gel only once daily if you use it at the same time as Cosmelan 2 Depigmentation Cream.
