Dermamelan

Dermamelan Home Care Christchurch

Protect and extend your Dermamelan results with Dermamelan home care from Satini Cosmetic Clinic in Ferrymead, Christchurch. Developed by Mesoestetic, Dermamelan is an intensive, doctor-prescribed depigmentation method for deeper, stubborn or returning pigmentation, including melasma and dark spots.

Dermamelan works in two phases. Your doctor applies the professional mask in clinic, then you continue the treatment at home. The home phase is essential: it keeps fading pigmentation, helps control new pigment from forming, and soothes your skin while it recovers.

Why Dermamelan Home Care Matters

  • Continues the depigmenting action started by your in-clinic mask
  • Helps prevent dark spots from returning by controlling excess melanin
  • Soothes and restores skin during the recovery phase
  • Protects your results with very high, tinted sun protection
  • Hydroquinone-free: Dermamelan is formulated without hydroquinone

Dermamelan Home Pack: The complete home-care system for the Dermamelan method, with everything you need for the at-home phase:

  • Dermamelan Treatment Cream (30 g): The home depigmenting cream that keeps fading and controlling pigmentation after your mask
  • Melan Recovery (50 ml): A soothing, restorative balm with niacinamide and bisabolol that calms redness and supports your skin’s recovery
  • Melan 130+ Pigment Control (50 ml): A tinted, very high protection sunscreen designed for pigmentation-prone skin

Dermamelan Cream: Also available on its own to continue your maintenance routine under your doctor’s guidance.

How to Use Your Dermamelan Home Pack

Always follow the schedule your Satini doctor gives you. Your routine will change as you move through each stage of treatment. As a general guide from Mesoestetic:

  1. Start when your doctor advises, usually 48 to 72 hours after the in-clinic mask is removed.
  2. Morning and night: Apply one pump of Dermamelan Treatment Cream to clean, dry skin.
  3. Up to three times a day: Apply Melan Recovery generously over the whole face to soothe and restore.
  4. Morning and midday: Finish with Melan 130+ Pigment Control, and reapply if you’re in direct sun. Daily sun protection is essential to keep pigmentation from returning.

Some redness, dryness or peeling is normal in the early phase. Contact us if your reaction is stronger than expected. Dermamelan is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for children under 12.

Is Dermamelan Right for You?

Dermamelan is a stronger, doctor-prescribed programme and is not suitable for everyone. Your doctor will assess your skin and pigmentation first. Depending on your skin, Cosmelan, the Kligman Solution or IPL may suit you better. Compare all four options on our pigmentation treatments in Christchurch page.
