Before and after

Subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation

Juvelook is chosen for patients who want to look fresher and more rested without an obviously filled appearance. At Satini Cosmetic Clinic, treatment is planned conservatively and reviewed over time, with the aim of supporting smoother skin, improved hydration and gentle facial renewal.

A different approach to facial rejuvenation

A softer, more natural way to feel refreshed

Many of our patients simply want to look a little less tired and a little more like themselves on a good day. Juvelook can be a lovely option when your priority is smoother skin, softened fine lines and gentle support—without dramatically changing your facial shape.

01

Naturally refreshed skin

Supports gradual collagen renewal so the skin can look smoother, firmer and more luminous over time.

02

Less focus on “filling”

May suit you when you want a softer approach, prefer to avoid obvious volume, or would like to rely less on structural filler.

03

Made personal to you

Your doctor listens to your concerns, studies your facial anatomy and creates a plan that feels balanced, reassuring and genuinely personal.

Our Satini philosophy: you should still look unmistakably like yourself—just fresher, softer and more rested, with the quiet confidence that comes from feeling comfortable in your own skin.

What Juvelook is

Collagen stimulation with an early hydration effect

Juvelook combines poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microspheres with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid acts as a carrier and contributes to the early physical effect, while the PDLLA component is intended to support gradual collagen-related improvement.

Unlike a traditional cross-linked dermal filler, Juvelook is not primarily chosen to create sharp projection in the lips, chin or jawline. At Satini, we consider it a skin-quality and regenerative injectable that can be used alone or as part of a wider facial rejuvenation plan.

  • Fine lines and crepey skin
  • Reduced skin firmness and elasticity
  • Selected under-eye concerns
  • Subtle cheek and facial volume change
  • Shallow acne scarring and texture
  • Neck and décolletage rejuvenation

Why Satini

A consultation before a recommendation

Juvelook is not the answer to every ageing concern. During your Satini consultation, your doctor assesses the difference between skin thinning, muscle movement, volume loss, pigmentation and laxity.

We may recommend Juvelook, Sculptra, dermal filler, anti-wrinkle treatment, microneedling, IPL, medical-grade skincare—or a staged combination. The aim is to use the least amount of treatment needed to create a balanced result.

Treatment comparison

Juvelook vs traditional dermal filler

Juvelook and hyaluronic acid filler can both improve facial ageing, but they are selected for different reasons. At Satini, we explain the difference clearly so you can choose a plan that matches how you want to look.

FeatureJuvelookTraditional hyaluronic acid filler
Main purposeGradual improvement in skin quality, collagen support, fine lines and subtle volume change.Immediate structural volume, projection, contour or support.
Typical resultFresher, smoother and more naturally rejuvenated over time.More immediate and targeted reshaping once swelling settles.
Best suited toCrepey skin, fine lines, selected under-eye concerns, texture and gentle rejuvenation.Lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, deeper folds and defined volume loss.
Ability to sculptLimited; it is not primarily a contour-defining filler.Higher, depending on the filler and treatment plane.
How results developEarly hydration may occur, with collagen-related change developing over weeks and months. The shaping effect is mostly visible immediately, with refinement after swelling settles.
Treatment courseOften a short series followed by review and personalised maintenance.Often one session with review or adjustment as needed.
ReversibilityThe PDLLA component cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase.Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be reduced with hyaluronidase, although this remains a medical procedure with limitations and risks.

Biostimulator comparison

Juvelook vs Sculptra

Both treatments stimulate collagen, but they are not interchangeable. Juvelook contains PDLLA with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, while Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) in a reconstituted suspension.

When might Juvelook be better than Sculptra?

Juvelook may be the better Satini choice when your main concern is thin or crepey skin, fine lines, a delicate area such as the under-eye region, shallow textural change or subtle rejuvenation without broad volumisation.

Sculptra may be preferable when the aim is deeper, more generalised collagen stimulation and restoration of facial volume. There is no strong head-to-head evidence proving that either treatment is universally superior. The best choice depends on your anatomy and desired result.

Your Satini treatment journey

What to expect from consultation to review

Doctor consultation

We assess your skin, facial anatomy, previous injectables, medical history and the result you want to achieve.

Personalised recommendation

Your doctor explains whether Juvelook, Sculptra, filler or another treatment is most likely to address your concern.

Careful treatment

Product preparation, treatment depth, technique and volume are selected for the area and your anatomy.

Progressive review

We review gradual change over time and plan further sessions or maintenance only when clinically appropriate.

Results, downtime and safety

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small injection bumps may occur. Less common complications include infection, inflammatory reactions, persistent nodules or lumps, vascular compromise, tissue injury and visual disturbance. Treatment around the eyes requires particularly careful assessment and technique.

Persistent nodules require medical review. Management depends on the cause and may include massage, medication or selected energy-based treatment, including IPL where your doctor considers it clinically appropriate.

Juvelook is not suitable for everyone. Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection or inflammation, significant bleeding risk, known hypersensitivity, uncontrolled medical conditions or where anatomy and previous treatments make injection unsuitable.

Frequently asked questions

Juvelook FAQs

What is Juvelook made from?

Juvelook combines poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA) microspheres with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The HA acts as a carrier and contributes to the early physical effect, while the PDLLA is intended to support gradual collagen-related improvement.

Is Juvelook a dermal filler?

Juvelook is an injectable biostimulator with a temporary physical component, but it is not used in the same way as a traditional cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler for precise lip, cheek, chin or jawline shaping. Its main role is gradual skin-quality and collagen support.

Who is a good candidate for Juvelook at Satini?

It may suit patients who want improvement in fine lines, crepey texture, skin elasticity, selected under-eye concerns or subtle volume change, particularly when they do not want an obviously filled appearance. A medical consultation is required to confirm suitability.

How many treatments will I need?

Many plans involve two or three sessions, often spaced several weeks apart. Your treatment course depends on the area, skin quality, age, previous procedures and the degree of improvement sought.

When will I see the result?

You may notice early hydration or freshness, but the more meaningful improvement is gradual. Skin texture, elasticity and fine lines are usually assessed over several weeks to months.

How long does Juvelook last?

Duration varies according to the treatment area, number of sessions, age, metabolism, skin condition and lifestyle. We avoid promising one fixed duration and recommend reviewing the result before planning maintenance.

Can Juvelook be used under the eyes?

It may be considered for selected under-eye concerns, including fine lines, thin or crepey skin and mild hollowness. Significant eye bags, festoons, lymphatic swelling, severe laxity or certain previous fillers may make another treatment more appropriate.

Is Juvelook better than under-eye filler?

Not automatically. Juvelook may be preferable when the main concern is thin, crepey skin or gradual skin-quality improvement. Traditional HA filler may be better for a clearly defined hollow that needs structural correction. In some patients, neither injectable is suitable.

Is Juvelook better than Sculptra?

Juvelook may be better suited to delicate areas, fine lines and skin-quality concerns. Sculptra may be better for broader and deeper facial volume loss. Neither product is universally superior.

Can Juvelook be dissolved?

No. Although Juvelook contains non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, the collagen-stimulating PDLLA component cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase in the same way as a traditional HA filler. Conservative treatment planning is important.

Can Juvelook cause lumps?

Small temporary bumps can occur after superficial injection and often settle. Persistent nodules or lumps are uncommon but require medical assessment. Treatment depends on the cause and may include massage, medication or selected energy-based treatment.

What is the downtime?

Most people return to normal activities quickly. Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and temporary injection marks or bumps are possible. Your Satini doctor will provide aftercare based on the area and technique used.

Can Juvelook be combined with anti-wrinkle treatment or filler?

Yes, when medically appropriate. Dynamic wrinkles, structural volume loss, pigmentation and surface texture are different concerns, so a staged combination plan may produce a more balanced result than relying on one treatment alone.

Who performs Juvelook at Satini?

At Satini Cosmetic Clinic, injectable treatments are doctor-led and planned after consultation. This supports careful assessment, appropriate product selection and prompt recognition and management of complications.
