Dermal filler is a hyaluronic-acid gel used to restore or enhance volume beneath the skin. The right product and placement depend on whether your aim is gentle hydration, structural support, contour or softening a fold.
At Satini, filler is not recommended simply because an area can be injected. Your doctor considers your facial proportions, tissue support, skin quality, previous treatments and the change you would like to see. Sometimes filler is appropriate; sometimes another treatment—or no treatment—is the more thoughtful recommendation.

The fillers used at Satini are gels containing hyaluronic acid. Product choice depends on the treatment area, your anatomy and clinical suitability.
02Will my result look natural?+
That is the intention of Satini's conservative approach. Your doctor plans treatment around your existing proportions and may recommend less product, staged treatment or no filler at all.
03How long does dermal filler last?+
Often around 6–18 months, but duration varies with the product, treatment area, amount, metabolism and lifestyle. Your doctor will give you a more relevant expectation after assessment.
04How much dermal filler will I need?+
There is no standard amount for a feature or age. Your doctor will discuss the smallest reasonable quantity for your anatomy and goal, together with the total cost, before treatment.
05Is dermal filler painful?+
You may feel pressure, pinching or temporary discomfort. Comfort measures vary by product and treatment area and will be discussed with you.
06How much downtime should I expect?+
Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising can occur. Some areas, particularly lips, may swell more noticeably for several days. Plan important events with enough settling time.
07Can hyaluronic-acid filler be dissolved?+
Hyaluronic-acid filler can usually be reduced with hyaluronidase, although dissolving is also a medical procedure with limitations and risks.
08Can consultation and treatment happen on the same day?+
It may be possible when you are medically suitable, fully informed and comfortable proceeding. There is never pressure to decide on the day.
09Who should not have dermal filler?+
Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided with pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflammation, significant bleeding risk, known hypersensitivity, some medical conditions or unsuitable anatomy. Your doctor will assess this individually.
10What symptoms need urgent attention?+
