Lip filler at Satini
A lip treatment that
belongs to your face.
Lip filler is a hyaluronic-acid gel placed in selected areas of the lips or lip border. The aim may be gentle hydration, clearer shape, restoration of volume or a small change in balance.
Your doctor assesses your lips at rest and in motion, the relationship between the upper and lower lip, tooth show, profile, surrounding skin and any previous lip treatment. Sometimes the most natural plan is less product, staged treatment or no treatment.

- 03
Careful treatment
Lip filler is placed using a technique selected for your anatomy and agreed goal.

Lip filler
safety.
Temporary lip swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising are common. The lips can look fuller or uneven while swelling settles.
Other possible complications include infection, persistent lumps, asymmetry, reactivation of cold sores and inflammatory reactions. Rare vascular complications can cause tissue injury and require urgent medical assessment. Visual disturbance is an emergency.
Seek urgent advice: unusual or increasing pain, pale or mottled skin, significant colour change or visual symptoms require immediate attention.
Lip-filler FAQs
Questions are
always welcome.
If your question depends on your lip anatomy, health history or previous treatment, a doctor consultation is the safest place to answer it.
Ask a doctor ↗01Will lip filler look natural?+
That is the aim of Satini’s conservative approach. A natural result depends on your starting lip anatomy, the agreed change, product, placement and amount.
02How much lip filler will I need?+
There is no standard amount. Your doctor recommends the smallest reasonable quantity for your lips and may suggest staged treatment.
03How swollen will my lips be?+
Swelling varies and can be more noticeable during the first few days. The early appearance should not be treated as the final result.
04How long does lip filler last?+
Often around 6–12 months, although duration varies with the product, amount, placement, metabolism and lifestyle.
05Can lip filler improve asymmetry?+
It may improve selected lip asymmetry, but natural lips and facial movement are never perfectly symmetrical. Your doctor will explain what is realistically changeable.
06Can lip filler be dissolved?+
Hyaluronic-acid lip filler can usually be reduced with hyaluronidase. Dissolving is also a medical procedure with limitations and risks.
07What if I get cold sores?+
Tell your doctor if you have a history of cold sores because lip injections can reactivate them and a prevention plan may be appropriate.
08Can consultation and lip treatment happen on the same day?+
It may be possible when you are medically suitable, fully informed and comfortable proceeding. There is never pressure to decide on the day.
09Who should not have lip filler?+
Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided with pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infection or inflammation, a current cold sore, significant bleeding risk, known hypersensitivity, some medical conditions or unsuitable lip anatomy.
10What symptoms need urgent attention?+
Contact Satini urgently for unusual or increasing pain, pale or mottled skin, significant colour change or other unexpected symptoms. Visual disturbance is an emergency and requires immediate medical attention.
