Dermal filler for men, for structure not softness
Most men notice it in their early forties, and often quite suddenly: the jawline stops being a line. The fat pads that sat high in the face slide downward, so the cheeks flatten, the jaw softens, and the face reads as tired rather than older.
Filler puts that structure back. Done for a male face it means firmer product, placed deep and on bone, building an edge along the jaw — not volume for its own sake.
What it actually looks like on a man

Mid-forties — cheek, fold and jaw
He'd lost volume through the mid cheek, which deepened the fold running from nose to mouth, and the jawline had begun to soften. The complaint wasn't "I look old" — it was looking flat and tired in photographs.

$750 per ml, and most men need two or three
There's no separate men's price at Satini. You pay for the volume of filler used, exactly as women do — $750 per millilitre.
What differs is the amount. The jaw is a large structure, and building a visible edge along it typically takes 2 ml on its own. Add cheek support and most men land at 2–3 ml, so $1,500 to $2,250 for a first treatment.
That figure is on this page deliberately. Under-treating is the most common reason a man leaves a clinic seeing no difference and concludes filler doesn't work on him — and it usually happens because nobody was honest about volume up front.

"Won't filler make me look feminine?"
It's the objection that stops most men booking filler, and it comes from a fair observation: some men do overdo it, and you've seen the results.
But what reads as feminised is almost always a specific set of choices — soft product placed superficially, round cheeks, filled lips, volume added everywhere rather than structure added somewhere. That's a female treatment plan applied to a male face.
A masculine face is defined by a square, prominent chin and a clear jawline. Filler used well in men reinforces exactly those features. Satini uses the Teoxane® range for most male work, chosen for high lifting capacity — it holds a shape against bone rather than spreading softly under the skin.
And if you don't like the result, hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved. That's a genuine safety net most men don't realise exists.

What happens on the day
Assessment
A $99 consultation including 3D facial assessment. Dr Haub assesses your bone structure, fat pad position and skin before recommending any volume or placement.
Volume and cost agreed
How many ml, where, and the total price — in writing, before anything is injected. You can take the plan away and think about it.
Treatment
Numbing cream first, and the filler itself contains local anaesthetic. Around 45 minutes. Most men describe pressure rather than pain.
Settling and review
You'll see the change immediately, though some swelling is normal for a few days. The result settles at about two weeks, which is when it's properly assessed.
What men ask before booking filler
Will it make me look feminine?
Not when it's placed for male anatomy. Men are treated for a squarer jaw and flatter, more lifted cheeks, using firmer product placed deep. What looks overdone in men — round soft cheeks, filled lips — is a different treatment plan entirely, and not the one you'd be given here.
How many ml will I actually need?
Most men need 2 to 3 ml. Jawline definition alone usually takes 2 ml, because the jaw is a large structure and it needs enough product to create a visible edge. Being under-treated is the most common reason a man sees no result and concludes filler doesn't work on him.
Will I bruise, and how long for?
Bruising is possible, particularly along the jawline and under the eyes, and it's the main reason to plan the timing. Most bruising settles in three to five days. Leave a week before anything you'd rather not be bruised for.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first and the filler contains local anaesthetic. Most men describe pressure rather than pain, particularly along the jaw where the product is placed firmly against bone.
What if I hate it?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. It's one reason Satini doesn't use permanent fillers — those can scar or shift position over the years, and there's no undo.
How long does it last?
Typically 12 to 18 months for jawline and cheek work, and up to around two years with some products. Areas that move more break the filler down faster. When it wears off it can simply be repeated.
Is it risky?
Serious complications are uncommon but they are possible — the most significant being filler entering a blood vessel, which requires immediate treatment. That's the reason this is done by a doctor here, with the reversal agent on site and protocols for recognising and managing problems. It's a fair question to ask any clinic before you book.
Do I have to sign up to a package?
No. You pay for the treatment you have. There's no membership and no obligation to commit to a course.
Can I come outside work hours?
Yes. The clinic runs to 8pm Wednesdays and 9pm Thursdays, and Saturday mornings to 1pm. Appointments are spaced so you won't cross paths with anyone in the waiting area.
