PDO Thread Non-Surgical Facelift Christchurch

Ageing is a natural process that everyone goes through. But for some of us, the signs of ageing can be more bothersome than others. Fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin can make us feel self-conscious about our appearance. And this can affect our confidence levels. Luckily, there are many non-surgical treatment options available to combat these signs of ageing. One of them is the non-surgical PDO thread facelift.

Workshop hosted by Dr Nadja Haub at Satini Cosmetic Clinic

Recently, Dr Nadja Haub hosted a workshop for PDO thread non-surgical facelifts. Dr Nadja Haub was joined by national trainers RN Suzie and RN Chrissie, two workhorses in the field of aesthetic medicine. They have all seen firsthand how the recent advancements in non-surgical treatments have helped patients feel more confident in their skin.

The workshop was designed to educate attendees on how to perform the PDO thread non-surgical facelift. Another goal was for us to learn more about the benefits, expected results and also its limitations.

The workshop was conducted in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Attendees could ask questions and learn more about the procedure. Dr Nadja Haub and fellow trainers RN Suzie and RN Chrissie were thorough in their explanation of the procedure. They covered everything from the preparation process to the recovery period. They also showed attendees before and after photos of patients who had already undergone the procedure.

Goals of the Non-Surgical Facelift Workshop

We hosted this workshop to teach new and innovative techniques on how to perform a thread lift. But on top of that, one of the main goals was for us to consolidate our skills in how to choose the right person for this procedure. Because it is a facelift that does not involve any surgery, it can only treat mild to moderate facial sagging and some people even use it to prevent worsening facial sagging.

Dr Nadja Haub says

The most important thing for us to bring across was that it is paramount to chose the right candidate for this type of facelift. Because it is not a surgical facelift, it works best for people who have only mild to moderate facial sagging. If you have severe facial sagging, you may be better off with ba surgical facelift. On top of that, the doctor or nurse who performs the facelift has to make sure, that you have enough volume in your face. This means that your face should not be too skinny. This is because the threads for a facelift are quite thick and if you do not have enough volume, they can shine through the skin.

Advantages of a Non-Surgical Facelift

One of the biggest advantages of PDO thread facelifts is that we can customise the procedure to meet the individual needs of each patient. During the workshop, the trainers emphasized the importance of understanding each patient’s unique anatomy and goals. This will allow us to provide the best possible results for each one of our clients.

Another advantage of PDO thread facelifts is that the procedure is relatively quick. It typically takes only an hour or two to complete. Unlike traditional facelift surgery, there is no need for general anaesthesia, which means that it is less invasive and that you do not need much downtime.

Potential Disadvantages of the non-surgical facelift

The non-surgical facelift is far less invasive than the surgical facelift but it is also not as long-lasting. A few studies looked at people who had a non-surgical PDO thread lift. These people were asked how happy they were with their facelift after a year. And whereas 70% of people were still noticing a good lifting effect, 30% noticed that it had started to wear off.

This is very different to the surgical facelift which is much longer-lasting. When people had a surgical facelift, more than 97% of patients were very happy after a year and 67% were still very happy after 12 years.

And again, it is important to note that the non-surgical facelift only works if you have mild to moderate facial sagging.

Overall, the workshop was a success, and attendees left feeling informed and confident about the PDO thread non-surgical facelift procedure. The doctor’s expertise and experience in the field were evident, and it was clear that she was passionate about helping her patients feel their best. With non-surgical options like PDO thread facelifts available, it’s never been easier to achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance.

Model 1, in her early forties

Our first model was Katrina who is in her very early forties. She noticed that her face appeared to be a bit saggier and that she started to get jowls. To address these concerns, she considered having a PDO Thread lift. Katrina was an ideal candidate for the thread lift as she only had mild facial sagging and it was very likely that a non-surgical facelift would reshape her face quite nicely.

The procedure took approximately an hour to complete, and she was able to return to work the following day. After the procedure, she noticed an immediate improvement in the appearance of her skin, and over the next few weeks, the results continued to improve.

Model 2: Ingrid in her mid-fifties

Our second model was Ingrid.  She is in her mid-fifties 55 and had also noticed mild to moderate sagging in her jowls and neck area. She was hesitant to undergo surgery and wanted a non-surgical option. The PDO thread lift procedure was an ideal choice for her. If you look at Ingrid’s photo, you can see that she only had mild facial sagging. We deemed Ingrid a good candidate for a non-surgical facelift and thought that she would likely be able to get a good treatment outcome.

During the procedure, the doctor placed threads in the jowl area. This resulted in a significant improvement in the appearance of her sagging skin. Ingrid reported that she experienced mild discomfort during the procedure.  After her threadlfit, she was able to return to her daily activities within a few days.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the workshop was a truly engaging and enlightening experience. The diverse group of participants, along with the knowledgeable and enthusiastic facilitators, made for a stimulating and collaborative learning environment.

The interactive and hands-on approach to the workshop allowed us to improve our technical skills. But first and foremost we re-emphasized how important it is to choose the right candidates for the Non-Surgical PDO thread lift. If we choose the right candidate, we can achieve superior treatment outcomes.
