Subtle, structural, personal
What dermal fillercan—and cannot—do.
Dermal filler can add support or volume in carefully selected areas. It may help soften some folds, refine contours or restore proportions that have changed with time.
It is not the right answer for every concern. Skin quality, muscle activity, bone structure and the degree of tissue laxity all affect what is achievable. Your consultation is where those factors are assessed and realistic options are discussed.
At Satini, the aim is not to change your character. It is to plan the smallest considered intervention likely to support your goals.

Inside the appointment
A calm, unhurriedtreatment journey.
Good injectable treatment begins before a syringe is opened. Assessment and planning matter as much as the injection itself.
The whole face is considered
Structure, movement, proportions and previous treatment are reviewed before recommendations are made.
Careful placement
Small, considered amounts are placed according to the agreed plan.
Medical care throughout
The doctor who assesses and plans the treatment also performs it.
Immediate assessment
Early swelling or redness may be present; the treatment is reviewed and aftercare explained.
Treatment comfort
What does dermal fillerfeel like?
Local anaesthetic
The hyaluronic-acid filler used contains local anaesthetic to help make treatment more comfortable.
Brief sensations
You may still notice a pinch, pressure or stinging. Some discomfort is normal, and experiences differ.
A calm pace
Your doctor explains the process, checks your comfort and can pause when needed.

Balanced medical information
Dermal fillerrisks.
Common temporary effects include redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, itching and bruising. Less common complications include infection, nodules, delayed inflammation, asymmetry and allergic reaction.
Rare but serious complications can occur if filler enters a blood vessel. These can include tissue injury, visual impairment or blindness, and stroke. Your doctor will discuss risks relevant to the proposed product and treatment area.
General information only. Individual suitability, risks, benefits and expected outcomes require a personal medical assessment.
Frequently asked questions
Questions arewelcome.
Your medical history and anatomy can change the answer. A personal consultation is the safest place for individual advice.
01What are dermal fillers made from?+
The fillers used at Satini are gels containing hyaluronic acid. Product choice depends on the treatment area, anatomy and clinical suitability.
02Is dermal filler painful?+
Most patients find treatment manageable. The filler contains local anaesthetic, although brief pinching, pressure or stinging can still occur.
03How long does dermal filler last?+
Duration varies with the product, area, amount, metabolism and lifestyle. Your doctor will give a more relevant expectation after assessment.
04How much downtime should I expect?+
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling and bruising can occur. Some treatment areas may swell more noticeably for several days.
05Can hyaluronic-acid filler be dissolved?+
It can often be reduced with hyaluronidase. Dissolving is itself a medical procedure with limitations and risks, and may not reverse every issue.
06Who should postpone treatment?+
Treatment should be delayed with active inflammation or infection at the treatment site. Tell your doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding, bleeding disorders, severe allergies, medicines and previous reactions.
07Can consultation and treatment happen on the same day?+
It may be possible when you are medically suitable, fully informed and comfortable proceeding. There is no pressure to decide on the day.
08What areas can dermal filler treat?+
Depending on anatomy and suitability, dermal filler may be considered for areas such as the cheeks, lips, chin, jawline or selected facial folds. Not every product or treatment area is suitable for every person.
09How much filler will I need?+
The amount cannot be decided safely from a photograph or package alone. Your doctor assesses facial structure, the treatment area and your goals, then may recommend a conservative amount, staged treatment or no filler.
10What aftercare is needed?+
Follow the personalised instructions provided by your doctor. Avoid pressing or massaging treated areas unless advised, allow for possible swelling or bruising, and contact Satini promptly if symptoms are worsening or unexpected.
11When will I see the final result?+
An immediate change may be visible, but swelling, redness or bruising can temporarily affect the appearance. Settling time varies by product and treatment area, so your doctor will explain when review is most useful.
